Objective
The iG5 Fund seeks to replicate, to the extent possible, the return of a bond issued by the Government of Canada with a five year term to maturity.
Strategy
To achieve this goal, the Fund will hold the Government of Canada bond selected by BGI Canada with a time to maturity that closely matches the benchmark bond maturity. When BGI Canada selects a new Government of Canada bond, the Fund will sell all of its existing holdings and purchase the new bond.
