Media Advisory: Canada's Top Social Sciences Researchers to Be Recognized

OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - 11/05/09) - Canada's top social sciences and humanities researchers will be recognized at Sagacitas-the seventh annual Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC) awards ceremony. The prizes awarded are among the Canadian research community's highest honours.

Media representatives are invited to attend as we present this year's Gold Medal for Achievement in Research, along with the SSHRC Aurora prize, the SSHRC Postdoctoral Prize and the William E. Taylor Fellowship.
