WHAT:    Cineplex Entertainment is pleased to announce that the fourth
         season of the very popular The Met: Live in HD premieres with an
         afternoon transmission of Puccini's Tosca this Saturday, October
         10th at 1 pm ET.

         Tosca marks the first performance of the season as part of The
         Met: Live in HD series and will be transmitted live from New York
         via satellite in high-definition into more than 90 Cineplex
         Entertainment theatres across the country.

         Puccini's Tosca tells the story of three people - a famous opera
         singer, a free-thinking painter and a sadistic chief of police -
         caught in a net of love and politics. Soprano Karita Matilla sings
         the title role for the first time outside her native Finland,
         Marcelo Alvarez performs as Cavaradossi and Juha Uusitalo as
         Scarpia. Luc Bondy, acclaimed for his imaginative theatre and
         opera productions, directs and Joseph Colaneri conducts.
