BALTIMORE, MD--(MARKET WIRE)--Feb 25, 2009 -- View Systems, Inc. (OTC BB:VSYM.OB - News), a security and teledata solutions provider, has issued a retraction.

Material in news releases issued by View Systems, Inc. on February 10, 2009 and February 18, 2009, regarding contracts with Verizon, was stated erroneously and those news releases are hereby retracted.

View Systems has, however, acquired an experienced Tier I fiber optic installation company and has several installation contracts in the works.

View Systems CEO, Gunther Than, states, "Our installation contracts were not directly with Verizon. However, we are excited to be reentering the fiber optic business. The company we have acquired is currently active and is generating revenue. We look forward to a profitable future together."
