(NasdaqCM:SCKT - News), an innovative provider of mobile productivity solutions, has created a business unit team under the brand SocketSerial to focus and grow the connectivity product line which today includes wired and wireless single and multi-port USB/serial plug-in adapters for notebooks, desktops and mobile computers. To assist in its on-going product positioning, facilitate product enhancements and development efforts, and to help guide the vision of future product releases, SocketSerial has formed a Customer Advisory Board (CAB). The CAB is comprised of industry veterans with broad market knowledge about connectivity, computer interconnect schemes, and industrial product requirements.

Over 30 existing SocketSerial customers ranging across various industry markets including scientific, legal, agricultural, and manufacturing have requested and been selected to participate in the CAB. One goal of the CAB is to review the SocketSerial product line in relation to the current and future needs of the various industries and market segments represented by the members and the solutions currently available on the market. Through surveys and early testing prototypes, the CAB will assist SocketSerial in defining and creating products that meet the demands of today's fast moving technology markets.
