provider of hydrological, meteorological and oceanic monitoring
products,
systems and services, today announced that during November
2008 the company
received bookings (purchase orders and contracts) totaling
$1,270,000 to
provide equipment, systems and services for a variety of
water and weather
monitoring, control and warning projects throughout the
world. Our November bookings were as follows: Orders from Venezuela and other Latin American countries $466,860; Airport Weather Systems totaling $152,470; USGS-HIF Orders $244,850; South Florida Water Management District Orders $153,556; Canada Orders $72,185; and purchase orders from 18 other customers. Considering the current economic conditions, our November 2008 bookings were up 100% over November 2007 bookings of approximately $636,000. In November 2008, we were also involved in negotiations in regards to a large international contract that we anticipate will be signed and awarded in December 2008. We therefore expect December 2008 bookings to significantly increase over December 2007 bookings of approximately $712,000. We continue to see substantial opportunities in the hydrological, meteorological and oceanic monitoring markets that we anticipate will be awarded in 2009.
