BEIJING--(MARKET WIRE)--Jul 14, 2008 -- Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas) -- Under the mandate of Huaneng Power International Incorporated (HNP - News) (Beijing), an examination meeting was held for the feasibility study report of the Huaneng Jinling Power Plant Phase II expansion project in Qilihe Town, Nanjing, in eastern China's Jiangsu province. Plans were approved for one 1,000-megawatt (MW) ultra-supercritical coal-fired unit in order to replace smaller units. Space will be reserved for further expansions.
