ProMedia.travel Launches Sept. Conference: The Beat LIVE

RIDGEFIELD, CT--(MARKET WIRE)--Apr 8, 2008 -- ProMedia.travel LLC is expanding its portfolio into peer collaboration with its first-ever event, The Beat LIVE. The Beat LIVE is a travel business conference that will rock Cleveland on Sept. 22-24, 2008. This invitation-only gathering will mimic the "news, views and interviews" framework of The Beat newsletter in an edgy, live forum covering corporate travel management, travel distribution and business travel technology. The conference will provide unmatched networking opportunities and educational programming starring the industry's brightest and boldest.

The following industry luminaries are already confirmed for the program, which will include point-counterpoint debates, opinionated presentations, lively panel discussions and poignant interviews: BCD Travel Americas president Danny Hood; Continental Airlines SVP of sales Dave Hilfman; TRX CEO Trip Davis; Rearden Commerce VP Tony D'Astolfo; travel buyers Ralph Colunga of Oracle, Cindy Heston of Thomson and Julie Thomte of Freescale; WNS Travel EVP Steve Reynolds; Tower Travel Management CEO John Smith; consultants Nick Athanasiou, Chicke Fitzgerald and Tom Wilkinson; and PlaneBusiness Banter publisher Holly Hegeman.

Other speakers will be invited in the coming weeks, but The Beat LIVE also is a user-generated conference.
