Need a lift? A forklift, that is. NES Rentals, formerly National Equipment Services, offers industrial and construction clients a range of 735 types of rental equipment, from forklifts and truck-mounted cranes to hand tools. It also supplies earth moving equipment such as bull dozers, trenchers, and skid steers. NES Rentals has over 80 locations in 30 states. Although rentals and services to nonresidential construction customers make up the bulk of its business, the company also sells new and used equipment, as well as parts and related gear. An affiliate of private equity firm Diamond Castle Holdings holds the reins of NES Rentals.
