"O Canada" is the national anthem; Air Canada, the national airline; and ACE Aviation, its parent company. Air Canada and regional affiliate Jazz serve about 170 destinations in Canada, the US, Asia/Pacific, and Europe. The carriers together operate about 340 aircraft. ACE Aviation spun off a minority stake in Air Canada in an IPO in 2006; it retains a controlling interest in Air Canada but not Jazz. In late 2008, ACE Aviation announced it was winding down its operations and liquidating its assets, including its majority stake in Air Canada. ACE Aviation owns a minority stake in aircraft maintenance company Aero Technical Support & Services Holdings (parent company of Aveos).
