Women's Apparel Group takes a direct route to women's fashion. The company, which does business as Boston Apparel Group, sells value-priced apparel and accessories to women between the ages of 25 and 55 through catalogs and via the Internet under the Chadwick's and metrostyle brands. Merchandise includes dresses, suits, swimwear, pants, outerwear, special occasion wear, and shoes. It also carries items in such specialty sizes as tall, petite, and plus. Women's Apparel Group (WAG) was formed following the sale of the Redcats USA's Missy Group, which included the Chadwick's, metrostyle, and Closeout Catalog Outlet brands, to Monomoy Capital Partners in 2008.
