Anchor BanCorp Wisconsin is the holding company for AnchorBank, which has about 75 branches across the Badger State. The thrift targets individuals and local businesses, offering checking and savings accounts, money market accounts, CDs, and IRAs, as well as insurance and investment products. Single-family residential mortgages account for some 20% of the bank's loan book; commercial and multifamily real estate loans make up another 40%. Other loans include construction loans, second mortgages, business loans, and student loans. AnchorBank was founded in 1919.
