As one of the nation's largest wholesale bakers, it operates 41 bakeries and 740 bakery outlet stores, delivering baked goods to supermarkets, mass marketers, and convenience stores across the US. Its national and regional bread brands include Wonder, Home Pride, and Beefsteak. It sells snack cake, doughnut, and sweet-goods brands such as Hostess, Dolly Madison, and Twinkies. IBC also produces croutons and stuffing under the Mrs. Cubbison's and Marie Callender's brands. The company filed for bankruptcy protection in 2004 and emerged in 2009.
