Just an F.Y.I., but Trans World Entertainment operates F.Y.E. and a handful of other retail ventures. Trans World's ownership of F.Y.E. (aka For Your Entertainment) keeps it near the top of the US music chain. Stores sell CDs, DVDs, video games, software, and related products at about 650 stores throughout the US and its territories. Trans World's other bricks-and-mortar operations include about 60 video stores under the Saturday Matinee and Suncoast Motion Pictures banners. Nearly 70% of its retail outlets are located in malls. The firm also sells entertainment goods via its e-commerce sites, including fye.com, suncoast.com, secondspin.com, and wherehouse.com. CEO Bob Higgins founded Trans World in 1972.
