China Yingxia International has nixed the US-based Agronix business in order to make money in China. The company (formerly Agronix), through subsidiary Harbin Yingxia Industrial Group, is engaged in the development, production, and distribution of health food products in China. The company's products include fresh cactus and cactus dry powder, Longgu golden rice, and organic soybeans. It has three major agricultural production bases. In 2006, as part of its expansion drive, the company acquired the troubled (but publicly trading) organic waste products recycling firm, Agronix. In 2008 it bought Guangzhou Supermarket Chain. CEO Jiao Yingxia owns 35% of the company.
