Item 8.01. Other Events.

On November 23, 2009, Aon Corporation issued a press release announcing that it will change the ticker symbol for its common stock listed on the New York Stock Exchange to "AON" from "AOC." The change will become effective at the start of trading on Tuesday, December 1, 2009.

A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by reference.
