Item 8.01. Other Events.

On November 18, 2009, iPCS, Inc. (the "Company") announced that that it has reached an agreement with the plaintiffs to settle the claims asserted in the putative shareholder class action lawsuits related to Sprint Nextel's proposed acquisition of iPCS. The cases are being heard in the Circuit Court of Cook County, Illinois.

A copy of the Company's press release of November 18, 2009 containing this announcement is attached as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K.
