On October 20, 2009, QKL Stores Inc. issued a press release announcing that it had been approved for listing on The NASDAQ Capital Market and would commence trading under the symbol "QKLS" on October 21, 2009. A copy of the press release is furnished as Exhibit 99.1 hereto.

In a Current Report on Form 8-K filed by the Company on October 16, 2009, the Company announced that it dismissed its principal independent accountant, Albert Wong & Co. ("Albert Wong"), from its engagement with the Company on October 15, 2009 and appointed BDO Guangdong Dahua Delu CPAs, LLP ("BDO") as the Company's independent registered public accounting firm. On October 19, 2009, the Company issued a press release announcing dismissal of Albert Wong and appointment of BDO. A copy of the press release in furnished as Exhibit 99.2 hereto.
