On September 8, 2009, Allegheny Energy, Inc., issued a press release announcing final results of the previously announced cash tender offer for debt securities by its wholly-owned subsidiary, Allegheny Energy Supply Company, LLC ("AE Supply"). AE Supply has accepted for purchase all validly tendered notes in the aggregate principal amount of $244,329,000 pursuant to the cash tender offer. The press release, which is attached as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K and is incorporated herein by reference provides greater details on the transaction.
