(b) On July 20, 2009, the Board of Directors of Central Bancorp, Inc. (the "Company"), the holding company for Central Co-operative Bank (the "Bank"), was informed of the death of Director James F. Linnehan. Mr. Linnehan had served as a Director of the Company and the Bank since 2003.
