On June 26, 2009, the Board of Directors of ESSA Bancorp, Inc. (the "Company") announced a second stock repurchase program pursuant to which the Company intends to repurchase up to 10% of the Company's publicly held outstanding shares of common stock. The Company completed its first stock repurchase program.
