On June 12, 2009, Light Valve Solutions LLC, a subsidiary of Acacia Research Corporation, entered into a settlement agreement with Sharp Corporation. The settlement agreement resolves patent litigation, Case No. 1:08-cv-1618, that was pending against Sharp Electronics Corp. in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia.
