On May 14, 2009, CombinatoRx, Incorporated (the "Company") and Cystic Fibrosis Foundation Therapeutics Incorporated ("CFFT") mutually agreed to end the cystic fibrosis research program being conducted under the Research, Development and Commercialization Agreement, dated May 31, 2006, between the Company and CFFT (the "Agreement"). The research program is ending on August 15, 2009, and the Agreement shall survive as modified by the Company and CFFT on May 14, 2009.
