On November 13, 2008, World Heart Corporation ("WorldHeart" or the "Company") received a letter from The NASDAQ Stock Market ("NASDAQ") stating that the Company has regained compliance with Marketplace Rule 4310(c)(4) (the "Minimum Bid Price Rule") and has maintained a closing bid price of its ordinary shares at $1.00 per share or greater for at least 10 consecutive business days. This matter is now closed with the NASDAQ.
