Barry J. Galt, a member of the board of directors of Endeavour International
Corporation, died on August 22, 2008. Mr. Galt served as a director of the
corporation since 2004 when Endeavour was first established as a North
Sea-focused oil and gas exploration and production company.
The Board of Directors of Endeavour has made no decision as to when the
resulting vacancy on the Board will be filled.
