Results of Operations and Financial Condition, Regulation FD Disclosure,
On August 12, 2008, China Wind Systems, Inc., a Delaware corporation (the "Company"), announced its plans to host a conference call on August 15, 2008, to discuss its results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2008. Copies of the Company's press release announcing the conference call and the press release announcing its guidance are attached hereto as Exhibits 99.1 and 99.2, respectively.
In accordance with General Instruction B.2 of Form 8-K, the information in Item 2.02 of this Current Report on Form 8-K, including Exhibits 99.1 and 99.2, shall not be deemed to be "filed" for purposes of Section 18 of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, as amended, or otherwise subject to the liabilities of that section, and shall not be deemed to be incorporated by reference into any of the Company's filings under the Securities Act of 1933, as amended, or the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, as amended, whether made before or after the date hereof and regardless of any general incorporation language in such filings, except to the extent expressly set forth by specific reference in such a filing.
On August 18, 2008, China Wind Systems, Inc., a Delaware corporation (the "Company"), made a presentation to various institutional investors during the week of August 18, 2008. A copy of the PowerPoint presentation is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.3.
