SAN FRANCISCO (AP) -- CDC Software Corp. said Friday that it finalized its agreement to buy on-demand e-commerce software company Truition Inc.

The company expects to close the acquisition in the next two weeks.

The purchase is the first of two previously announced plans to acquire software-as-a-service companies, CDC said.

The purchase price was not disclosed.

In midday trading, CDC shares fell 7 cents to $10.01.
